off subject - in need of something weird

From: gingerbreadjunk (gingerbreadjunk@yahoo.com) | Date: 2006-07-24 03:13:54 UTC
well, i do have another hobby, which does involve Gingerbread Jim,
which is a character i came up with for letterboxing, that did get
it's start in Gingerbread Junction, which is what my other hobby is,
which may be something i could explain later if anyone wants to know.

so i am in need of something i have not had in awhile. what i am in
need is, well, i need a couple clear plastic trees that may be left
from finished plastic model kits. would anyone out in letterboxing
world, happen to find time to make a model and happen to have any
clear plastic trees left over, that i may be able to get from you
somehow?

nobody i know does models anymore.

the alien invasion is coming.....

Have you tried Freecycle? I am not sure how it works in NH but there are
thousands of participants here in Connecticut. If you have no luck I can post for
you down this way.
To get it back on topic Freecycle might be a good way to get some LB
supplies. LOL

i have not tried freecycle. last week i joined and recieved almost 100 emails about stuff people are looking for/getting rid of. i was once with freecycle about a year ago and it wasn't that bad. i just didn't like the clutter. thanks though.

David,

I certainly don't mind searching here in Connecticut. I have an entire email
address solely for the purpose of Freecycle. If need be you can write an exact
discription of what you want...I will post it here in CT and get it to you.
Might not be as quickly as you need the trees but the offer is there.

Just an FYI about Yahoo groups:
If you want to join a list and don't want to receive all the postings
in your mailbox then join online at yahoogroups.com and choose the
settings "No Mail". Then if you ever want to check in to your group
you go to yahoogroups.com while you are logged in and all the groups
that you belong to are there.
I read all of my group mail on the web and I only check into Freecycle
occasionally but I could post a wanted add easily.
Whew!
Nisha

i will consider trying freecycle again. the trees do need to be clear. the reason i want them clearis, i do this craft, and i am proping something in the air, and to make it look like it is more in the air, i would like to have something as clear as possible.
